Effortlessly tender chicken in a creamy ranch sauce that practically cooks itself - perfect for busy families and beginners alike.

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
03 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
04 - 120 ml chicken broth
05 - 120 ml sour cream
06 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
08 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

→ Optional

09 - 1 tablespoon olive oil for searing
10 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
11 - Fresh parsley for garnish

# Steps:

01 - Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts on both sides until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. This adds extra flavor.
02 - In the crockpot, combine cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
03 - Place the chicken breasts into the crockpot and coat them thoroughly with the sauce mixture.
04 - Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is completely cooked through and tender.
05 - Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir it into the creamy sauce until well incorporated.
06 - Stir in sour cream for extra creaminess. If desired, garnish with shredded cheddar cheese and fresh parsley before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For extra flavor, sear the chicken before adding it to the crockpot.
02 - Consider adding vegetables like carrots, potatoes, or peas to make this a complete one-pot meal.
