01 - 2 pounds fresh green beans (or 2 cans French-style green beans, well drained)
02 - 6 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
03 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
04 - 1/4 cup butter, melted
05 - 1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium optional)
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
02 - Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
03 - In a saucepan, melt the butter and then stir in the brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder until well combined.
04 - In a baking dish, add the drained green beans. Toss in most of the crispy bacon and pour the buttery sauce over the beans. Sprinkle the remaining bacon over the top.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and caramelized at the edges.

01 - For extra caramelization, broil for 3 minutes at the end.
